These terms apply whenever you book a collection with MovingMoving Ltd, a registered waste carrier in England and Wales (licence CBDU497669), whether you book online, by WhatsApp or by phone.

Pricing

Every job is priced by one published formula: £39 call-out plus £22 per cubic yard your items take up in the van, or a fixed price per item from our list — whichever comes out cheaper. There is a £69 minimum charge on every job. Upholstered furniture (sofas, armchairs) carries a small additional disposal charge because the law requires it to be incinerated rather than landfilled.

You're charged the quoted price in full at booking, so please list everything you want collected as accurately as you can. If what's there on the day is honestly different from what you booked, get in touch afterwards and we'll look into it — this is handled case by case rather than as an automatic adjustment.

Payment

The full quoted total is taken by card at the time of booking. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Cancellation

You can cancel any time before your booked slot. We refund everything you've paid except a cancellation fee of 25% of the quoted total (minimum £20), which covers the slot being held for you — this applies however much notice you give. If something's come up, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

Referral discounts

If you have a referral code, it's worth £15 off your booking, and the person who gave it to you gets £15 credit towards their next job once yours is complete. A discount, including a referral discount, will never take a job below the published £69 minimum charge.

What's covered

• We are a registered waste carrier (licence CBDU497669) and carry £5m public liability insurance.
• Every collection comes with a digital waste transfer note, sent to you the same day, confirming where your items went.
• Please remove anything of significant sentimental or financial value, and anything you don't want collected, before we arrive. Point out anything fragile or awkward before the crew starts.
• We collect from a normal domestic or office setting; hazardous waste (asbestos, chemicals, gas cylinders) isn't something we're licensed to take and needs a specialist collector instead.
